A whole day wasted

Yup. Whole entire day.

Went to Vivian’s house to collect my car and drove to Servo immediately.
Reached there at 0945hrs and told Dennis my problem. He told me that he would check if there was any stock for my window lifter. He got back to me shortly after and told me that I would have to wait for the stock to arrive, say 20 to 30 mins. But it would cost… around $180 excluding labour!!!

He then asked me if I still wanted to get it repaired. I replied saying I didn’t have much of a choice. He said I did… they could just put the window back up, just that it will not function. I told him to just go ahead with it anyway, he then called his supplier to get the part delivered. OR SO I THOUGHT….

I then hung around… talked to Amos from Vassauto for awhile, got some prices for BOVs, bodykits, ARBs, etc. Took a look at his car and drooled once again… hung around somemore…

Before I knew it… it was lunch time…. Kok Leong went to get lunch for my dad …Thanks Dude!! He then came down to join me…

We went off for lunch at about 1300hrs …grrr…

Geoffrey joined us at the coffeeshop before proceeding back to Servo… by then it was around 1400hrs to 1500hrs. We hung around awhile more before we decided it was plain dumb…so we took Geoffrey’s car and went off to various shops at Paya Ubi before I got a call back from Dennis around 1730hrs! Can you believe that?!!!

By the time I got my car, it was almost 1800hrs!!!
So friggin pissed!!! Grrrr…

And I still had to foot the bill of $230!!!!

The whole day was gone just like that… and poor Kok Leong took leave to go JB with me…. haiz…
