For the life of me … the service is really lacking …

This is the 2nd time already in a few weeks that I’ve got fed up and bought my stuff from elsewhere….

2 different branches, 1 at IMM and now at Compass Pt where the place seems to be understaffed… and whatever remaining staff that they have, they’re really really slow in everything they do.

Do they not see the long queue? Goodness gracious me….

If they don’t get their act together… the place will go down like other fast food joints that have left the market.\

Applied for Deferment from NS …

Stupid reply I got from them was that work commitment does not constitute valid grounds for deferment.

Can someone tell me then why the hell did they include work commitment under the drop down menu at the deferment page?

They also mentioned that I had to note that I had deferred my NS before.

If each NS man is ONLY allowed to defer his service once or twice in his lifetime, they should have stated it somewhere somehow and highlighted it to me in the very first place.

Talk about crap replies.

Total of 5 times now …. They called me while I was in class today (caller id no. 65362752) … pissing me off in the process causing me to curse and swear in front of everyone. Vivian had a good laugh while I was swearing at the caller.

Yesterday, a woman from that bloody place called me (caller id no. 64386280) during lunch asking for Simon again…

I thought it seemed familiar… I asked them what’s this regarding and she went “blah blah blah calling from True Yoga”….

and I told her immediately that I wasn’t interested….

“Oh? Why are you not interested sir… ” and I told her that they called few weeks back and I already said I wasn’t interested to sign up.

There…. Done… Message sent across to them…. or so I thought

4 hours later at 1620hrs… I got a phone call (caller id no. 65363703)… asking for Simon again… blah blah blah… TWICE in a day …. I told the girl on the line that I already told them I wasn’t interested 4 hours ago and she replied “Oh…sorry… my colleague didn’t inform me” ….

TODAY… Deepavali… Nice public holiday …ya?

Fucking idiots called me again at 1344hrs (caller id no. 65364641) asking me to sign up for True Yoga…

Again I told them off saying this is the 4th time already… cancel my name and stop calling me as I’m not interested in Yoga or Yogi Bear EVER …

STOP CALLING ME… WHEN ARE YOU EVER GOING TO GET IT STRAIGHT IN YOUR THICK SKULLS THAT I AM FUCKING NOT INTERESTED???

Was proceeding to turn right towards Telok Blangah at Delta house junction towards Shenton Way when I spotted a white ant behind me . Was wondering if he was TP or ROV … anyway, I got caught at the lights and from behind he went to beside me on the lane next to mine. I looked at him and then turned away. When the lights turned green, he went straight and I turned right.

I was still wondering if he was TP or ROV …Hmm…

Anyway I was in a very “guai” (good boy) mood and drove slowly to work at the speed limit (60km/h) … when I was almost near my work place, I got caught at the lights once again and when I looked at the rear view mirror I saw a white ant right behind me!

When the lights turned green, he moved ahead and turned on his TP lights (that red flashing thingy) and signalled for me to stop by the road…. ROV!!! Plus the same dude earlier on too… Sheesh! He acutally made a u-turn and then came after me???

We stopped at a bus stop bay and I automatically took out my exhaust certifications for his perusal. I got out and he told me to open the bonnet as well… I wondered why ….

He took a look at the engine for awhile and then asked if my car had turbo … I said yes… it’s original turbo I replied. He then looked at the engine bay again for awhile poking here and there and then walked behind … and radioed back to his HQ (I suppose) for a check on my vehicle’s “make and model” as I heard….

Make and model? I was wondering if he knew what car I was driving…

I heard the reply over the radio 1.8 Tango Alpha …

and I guess he didn’t hear the “Tango” … he turned to me and asked again… “so it’s just 1.8?”

I replied … “It’s 1.8Teee” …

He then squatted down and looked under my car…

I told him “The cat’s still there (catalytic convertor), I didn’t take it out” …

He then walked back to the front and looked at my engine again … and said “It’s just 1.8?” which I replied again “It’s 1.8T! I can show you the log card” which I did… he looked at the log card and I pointed it out to him where the “T” was …

“It’s an original turbo, the car comes with it …”

He then radio-ed back and checked with the guy … “Confirm that there’s Tango behind 1.8?”

Which I overheard the reply “Confirm” … after which he returned the log card back to me and said thank you to me

Got back into the car and I drove to work which was just a stone’s throw away

I thank myself for not doing anything highly illegal to my car

and of ‘cos the guy who was just doing his job I suppose, but erm … did he know what car I was driving?

He must’ve thought he hit jackpot for stopping an illegally turbocharged car
