Itchy Fingers Woe

Guess what? After a hearty meal at a jappy restaurant at Tanjong Pagar earlier on (food was cheap and good) bunch of us (namely my ex-colleagues from similan.com aka SurfingBananas) were deciding where to head to next.

It was drizzling, and we were all in my car. So my itchy fingers went to make sure that the windows were all up properly. Click Click! The rear windows were up. But it made a funny noise. So I decided to bring it down to see what was the matter.

Click! The window came down

Click! The window refused to go up

Click! The window went further down

Click! The window refused to go

The window was now about 3cm down. NOT FUNNY

Click! The window refused to go up

ARRRGH!!!

Geoffrey said why don’t we open the door and take a look…

Okay!… I got out… he got out.

He opened the door and WHOA!!! The whole window dropped down. DISAPPEARED into the door. NO MORE REAR DRIVER’s WINDOW!!! HORROR OF HORRORS!!!!

ARRGGH!!! and it was 10pm. What workshop could I go to????

Couldn’t possibly park my car at my multi-story car park. Thought of just leaving it outside Servo, but with that window down… it wasn’t such a bright idea

So?

Vivian offered me a parking space at her house … heh…

And so we drove back to her place and I left my car there for the night. Gotta go pick it up tomorrow morning and drive to the workshop.

Geoffrey then sent Aly and me home from Vivian’s place.

Arrgh… was suppose to meet Kok Leong to go to JB tomorrow to install the window films on my car. There’s no window to tint anymore!!!

I just hope it’s a simple repair and not costly … haiz….

Anybody else experienced their windows dropping??? DUH!!!
