Marché @ VivoCity

Yes … I know… VivoCity again … we’re here like every few days lol
Gotta grab dinner …. so we decided to check out Marché which is opened by the original Marché chain and not franchised like the previous one at the Heeren

Mushroom soup … super thick with huge chunks of croutons
Just too thick for my liking even though the taste was pretty good …

Erm… baked potato … with lots of sour cream… not my cup of tea … the cream… not the potato

Aly got this rosti with mushrooms… with chilli sauce for me … not with that cream or dressing or whatever you call it

Now this is what I’m talking about … forget all that girly food from Aly…
THIS is the REAL deal …. Pork knuckle!
Or so I thought….
Bad…. Bad Bad Bad Bad Bad ….. skin was erm… chewy… not crispy … I had a hard time eating this… the skin had gone all soft…. could it be ‘cos it was left lying there for some time?
The old March� at Heeren did better pork knuckles….
My jaws were aching at the end of the meal

Here’s baby pleading for some dessert …. aww…. wouldcha like some ice kweeemm?

No ice cream for her…. but we had crepe with strawberries and bananas instead

Good thing we were there early… just look at the queue when we left ….
Overall… nothing great really… plus expensive to me too (I’m a cheapo lol )

I’ll only return if the people I’m with want to … certainly not on my own accord
