More disappointment….
4 Aug 2005Newcastle United…. went crashing out of the Intertoto Cup… losing to Deportivo …
With no chance of taking part in at least the UEFA Cup, meaning no european competition, meaning no opportunities to attract better players…
The club has already been depleted with the departures of Patrick Kluivert, Craig Bellamy, Laurent Robert, Aaron Hughes, Andy O’Brien, Darren Ambrose and Nicky Butt…
Crazy huh? With the aging Alan Shearer as the only proven striker in the club? Where do you think the club is going?
It was a big mistake to sack Sir Bobby Robson in my opinion… Souness? Many say give him time… but I doubt I’ll be able to steer the club forward… I’m just praying they finish at the top half of the table this season instead of 14th place!!!!!
Perhaps it’s time to start supporting another club after giving the Magpies my support only to see them screw up again and again…
