My Mum’s Cuisine @ Paragon

Walked around at Far East Plaza for awhile with Aly …. Met Pin Ming there shopping with his girlfriend … Exchange numbers and he was surprised to hear that I still keep in contact with Pat and the rest lol

Walked around for awhile more before having dinner at My Mum’s Cuisine at Paragon…

My family used to patronise them back when they were located at Holland Village… it’s certainly been a long time …

Ordered some home made barley … Chilled for Aly and hot for me… $1.60 each
Erm … it didn’t really taste that home made to me … somehow it had a slight taste of packet ones

Plain rice … 60cents … not like $2 back in Hong Kong

Loh Han Chapchye … for the indecisive $8 Not too bad…

Beef Rendang $8
Super tiny portion … enough for 1 only actually …. Am I expecting too much? Not Aly’s type of food …but since I was ordering some chicken … it wouldn’t be much of a problem I assumed.

Was telling Aly about how mum used to order the chicken from this place and it was really good…
Chicken Buah Keluak $9
I’m in for it … it was spicy! Just look at it! Something must be wrong somewhere ….
Where’s that chicken that mum used to order? Am I mistaking it for another place?
Now Aly had nothing to eat but vegetables
She assured me that it was okay as she wasn’t really hungry … and that she had “other plans”
