Su Korean Cuisine
30 May 2008We’ve walked past this place so many times till we lost count… there were a couple of times where we tried to dine here only to find that the place was full…
Not so bad today… we were here pretty early… and the place was rather empty… so we got ourselves a nice table at the corner 
Lots of stuff in the menu …. spoilt for choice… the ala carte dishes weren’t cheap though… In the end, we settled for a set for 2 ($59)
The set came with some side dishes …. this one’s spinach …
Some bean sprouts….
Rice cakes….
Kimchi … this was pretty good … no akaline taste like some other places…
Garlic Chives 
Potatoes….
Some bean sauce dip…
Ginseng Chicken Soup … this was huge! We were shocked at the size of this …
I thought they would’ve only given us half a chicken…. 
Did I mention that the chicken was stuffed with glutinous rice as well?
Aly didn’t like this at all though… she complained that the ginseng taste and smell was overpowering

Really yummy… I don’t find it disgusting leh ….

After…. too charred? Don’t ask why we didn’t put any in the middle
Free flow of veggies for wrapping the meats 
Add garlic…. meat….
and for that extra kick, some hot pepper paste and kimchi as well…. wrap… and stuff in mouth! 
AWESOME
Fruits that came at the end of the meal… Pretty tasteless …. 
We managed to finish all the food except for some of the chicken soup as I had to deal with the whole bowl (and the rest of the food) since Aly didn’t like the strong ginseng….
Couldn’t walk after that …. I would say it was a pretty good deal…. I shudder to think how much food there would be for the set for 4
Everything was okay to me…. Aly didn’t like the quality of the cabbages and the strong ginseng in the soup…
That’s about it… Total damage was $73.70 after service and tax and a can of Pepsi ($3) and 2 paper towels ($0.60 each)

Maybe you should change the name to Makanzone.net since its all about food reviews. Heheh..
