We headed back to the old wing (JP1) and decided to have dinner there instead as it was less crowded

I always found those little plastic/resin dishes cute

It’s basically a ramen place… by the RES group …. hope it’s better than the Shimbashi Soba at Paragon

Aly ordered the Kanitama Ramen ($12.90)

It’s crab meat omelette with noodles….

Some pickled veggies at the side… Aly didn’t touch them of ‘cos…. so ahMao ate them all up

My order of boring Negi Char Siew Ramen ($10.90)

…. ‘cos I wanted to eat the egg I’m a sucker for eggs

Ordered a side dish of Buta Kakuni ($3.90)
Basically braised pork belly…. YUMMY!!!

I also ordered a side dish of what Aly had – minus the noodles…
Kanitama ($3.90) ….

Total bill after all the taxes and service charge was $39.78 (I ordered a can of coke for $2.20 as well)

Food was pretty decent… at least much better than the soba at Paragon
Food was tastier too…. maybe ‘cos I liked the pork belly and eggy bits

Who likes to go and pawn stuff unless you really have to?!!! Talk about favourite somemore…. geez….

Well… maybe they give good prices for your stuff…. don’t want to know ….touch wood….

This was a totally scary shop ….

Nothing but deep fried food everywhere…. We went in to take a look and quickly came out …. the smell of oil was overwhelming

They had chicken rice for $1.99 though Deep fried chicken by the way….

Okay… time to head back into the mall for dinner

Read in the newspapers about how they turned part of the basement at Jurong Point into what they call Osaka Street, with about 6 different restaurants churning out japanese food (mostly managed by the RE&S Group)

After walking around Dempsey, we decided to check the Osaka Street out and see if we could get any dinner

We decided to join the queue at this place… as it had the shortest queue… with only about 10 … just TEN people ahead of us *faint*
Can you imagine how long the rest of the queues at other places were

Then again, there are tables and seats at Tori Q at this outlet…
But Aly and I decided to brave the queue since we weren’t that hungry anyway

So here I am waiting in the queue with nothing much to do… so I started taking pics

Salad… part of the set we ordered….  so we got 2 portions since we ordered 2 sets

Garlic wasn’t very strong…. well… not as strong (or much) as we would’ve preferred

We ordered a scallop pizza (Hotate Okonomiyaki) (SGD12.90)

Aly and I were at Jurong Point… looking for a place to have dinner, we ended up at Bentobox located on the 2nd level. We’ve always strolled past this place but never ate there before, so we decided to give it a try since she was in the mood for pasta (not bento… heh)

Gyoza! Not very good… but for $4.50, I suppose you can’t really complain much

Aly’s order of pasta with pork burger ($7.60)… tasted quite alright…

My order of pasta with teriyaki chicken! ($7.60)
Hey! The pasta tasted exactly the same as Aly’s …. the chicken was yummy though… slurp!

All in all, I guess the food was pretty reasonable considering the prices, total bill was $23.60 including drinks…. Quite okay no?
