Waraku @ Marina Square

Every eating joint was packed at Marina Square … sheesh …
Tried our luck at Waraku and surprise surprise! We were 2nd in the queue… 
Waitress asked us if we would mind a counter seat or continue to wait for a table…
HUNGRY!!! So we took the counter seat … erm… we were the only ones at the counter… and I really mean counter… not some bar top or sushi belt thingy… it was a counter!
We were seated right in front of the lady making drinks and desserts …
Which wasn’t a bad thing… we had free entertainment while waiting for our food to arrive and also while having our meal
Tomato and avacado salad ($6.80)
What? No meat? Must be Aly again… we had this for a start… Big chunky tomatoes and a generous amount of avacado…
Aly’s order of Dream Ramen ($14.80)
Steaming hot and thick creamy soup base… interesting … you guys should try!
Yanagawa Set $16.80
Ahhhh… MEAT… check out the beef slices
The set also came with some ramen….
and a small plate of potato salad 
Hotate Butter ($6.80)
Scallops with butter …. and some mushrooms …. lovely…
Ninniku Maruage ($5.80)
Basically grilled/roasted/baked garlic…. yummy!!! Just no kissing after this
The food was really good…. one of the best I’ve had in fact… Definitely coming back
